Supported by her amazing husband, who is also her best friend, Shireen treasures her family, including two beautiful daughters. Balancing her role as a dedicated professional and a family-oriented individual, she finds joy in competing in club netball, cooking, and watching sports—especially soccer, Formula One, and cricket. A loyal supporter of Manchester United in soccer and Ferrari in Formula 1, Shireen brings her passion for both work and life to the United Way South Africa board.

Welcome to the team, Shireen!

Our focus areas for community development centres around three pillars: Education, Health and Income generation.

We win by Living United; by forging unlikely partnerships, by finding new solutions to old problems, by mobilising the best resources and inspiring individuals to join the fight against their community’s daunting social crises.

UWSA envisages a nation where all citizens have access to equal rights and economic opportunities.
