United Way South Africa is creating opportunities for learners from vulnerable families to have a better future by increasing critical educational interventions such as Mathematics, Physical Science and English extra tuition in the historically disadvantaged communities of South Africa.
We have helped many young people from challenging backgrounds to succeed in school, however, there is still more work to be done and requests are coming in from deserving rural, townships and urban schools.
Imagine a community where every child has the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their background or circumstances. That is the community we are working hard to create.
Our Youth Success Programme offers much-needed extra classes in Maths, Science and English subjects amongst other interventions. We aim to improve results; we have done it before - NOW we need your help to sustain this resounding success! Please see this 1-minute video clip of one of the schools that benefitted from generous donations from stakeholders like yourself
Our urgent and most pressing project is to secure funding for our partner school: Clairwood Secondary in eThekwini, KwaZulu-Natal, for the Maths & Science extra tuition before end of year. Please see the link below:
We are committed to building a strong foundation for future academic and career success. That's why we're investing in education today. Please donate and Create an Opportunity.
We will not achieve much without you. Together we are stronger!
